Ronald McDonald House raises funds for upgrades at Bangor site
The residence on Point out Road held a yard sale Saturday for its ongoing work to increase income to include renovation expenditures.
BANGOR, Maine — The Ronald McDonald Home is operating to increase income to support renovation costs at it is site on Point out Road in Bangor. The nonprofit held a property sale Saturday to assist fulfill the fundraising goal.
The party was held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A quantity of kitchen supplies, home furnishings, decorations, and kids clothing ended up up for sale.
The Ronald McDonald House presents its rooms up to people who have to occur to the Bangor spot for their little one to acquire health-related care.
Lauren Genenbacher is the group engagement manager for the Ronald McDonald Dwelling in Bangor.
“We are elevating cash to support renovate our 14 guest rooms that we have in this article at the Bangor Dwelling, which includes having new TVs and streaming companies for all of the rooms and then redoing some of the electrical–some of it can be first to the 1983 house,” Genenbacher claimed.
Genenbacher extra the renovations cost about $500 for every place.
Genenbacher stated any items leftover from the garden sale would be donated. This party is part of its ongoing exertion to raise income for renovation prices.
