Jessa Duggar shows off messy living room at her in-laws’ house with toys and clothes all over the floor

Jessa recorded each of her children’s reactions to seeing the aftermath of the storm upon waking up in the morning.

The 29-year-old shares four kids, Spurgeon, six, Henry, five, Ivy, two, and Fern, seven months, with her husband Ben Seewald.

The older ones were eager to go out and play in the snow to make “snow ice cream,” snow angels, and go sledding.

The mom of four kept the camera rolling as the kids ventured outside, documenting their fun in the snow.

It seemed the kids may have been stuck inside for awhile during the storm, as Jessa also captured many toys splayed about in the living room.

In one frame, Jessa directed the lens towards her oldest daughter Ivy to coax her over by the window to view the snow piles.

Her other daughter Fern was seen laying on her stomach in the middle of the floor with toys and pieces of clothing all around her.

MESSY LIVING SPACE

The scene resembled a recent video Jessa posted from her own home where there was also an array of toy pieces and blocks that littered much of their living room.

In response to the vid, Reddit users called out the TV star for her messy home, blaming the clutter on a lack of motivation to clean.

One fan noted: “Jessa seems too depressed to wash spoons tbh.”

While another countered the couple are : “Too lazy and important to do dishes.”

Another was hopeful the kids would not follow in their parents footsteps: “Henry is making plans to get the f**k out of there.”

She’s repeatedly fought off critics who scrutinized her untidy living conditions, and left a remark geared towards the comments in a 2017 post.

Following snaps of her extremely messy home, including a pile of laundry, a mountain of dirty diapers, stains on her bed sheets, and marker and finger prints on mirrors, Jessa addressed the overflow of junk in the caption.

She wrote: “This is real life, ‘yall.

“Swipe left to see more pics of my house today in all its shining glory.”

She ended her note with a little bit of positivity for anyone else who may be living this way, writing: “There’s a never ending to-do list. Some of these tasks have been accomplished today, others haven’t.”

Then the busy mom went on the defensive: “Some of y’all may be thinking, ‘C’mon now, it only takes a few min to dust or wipe down a mirror…’ (but) the same is true of the needs of the little people in our lives.

“I might think ‘I don’t have time right now’ but it only takes a few min… here and there. A few mins here, spent cuddling a fussy baby. A few mins there, singing lullabies as a toddler drifts off to sleep. 5 mins here, to read a book. 10 min there, engaging in imaginative play.

“Not trying to pit a clean house against interaction with kids– sometimes both are possible, tho often they do seem in opposition to one another”

FRESH START

The parents of four may not be too bothered by the disorder as they are preparing to move into a new home.

The Sun exclusively revealed first photos of the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home they purchased, while it is still under renovation.

Photos show the home is located directly next to Immanuel Baptist Church, where Ben works as a pastor.

Arkansas property records reveal the house is still owned by the church located in Springdale.

Jessa explained their remodeling plans in a YouTube video, showing off the home prior to constructions.

She explained the bathroom and kitchen will be a “gut job,” as the hardwood floors in the other rooms are in “good condition” and will be stained.

They also plan to create an open floor plan, separating the living room from the kitchen and dining room, among other changes.

The ex-reality star revealed: “We are dumping a decent amount of our savings into this, but we feel like it’ll suit our need for years to come so for that it’s worth it.”

The move and remodel comes after the family’s long-running reality series, Counting On was cancelled last year.
